ESTA provides and maintains this site to allow the briefing, dissemination and to raise awareness of issues, policies, initiatives, products, systems and services relevant to the process of Energy Management and associated energy related matters.

Whilst ESTA makes every effort to ensure that information and advice provided on the site is accurate and up-to-date, it accepts no responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of this material.

All information and advice is given on the condition that in making any decisions or taking action that site users have assessed or confirmed for themselves the accuracy, completeness and applicability of material to their circumstance. No material on this site constitutes specific advice for an individual site or organisation.

Users should also be aware that:

When registering for free ESTA events, your contact details will be provided to sponsors, partners and exhibitors directly involved in the event.

Terms and Conditions for ESTA training courses:

  • On booking confirmation, an invoice will be issued, which is due for full payment within 28 days or by the course start date whichever is earliest.
  • For all payments, ESTA must receive the full invoice amount with no additional transaction charges i.e. international payments must be paid in full in pounds sterling.
  • All delegates, including those outside the UK, are required to pay the current rate of VAT.
  • Cancellation of attendance by the delegate following confirmation of a booking by ESTA:
    a refund, less 10% administration charge of the total monies due, for cancellations in writing at least one month before the date of the event.  No refunds will be paid, or invoices cancelled after this date.
  • ESTA reserves the right to cancel or amend the dates of the course at any time.  In these circumstances, a full refund will be provided if the revised arrangements are not acceptable to the delegate.
  • Delegates are responsible for all their own travel, accommodation and subsistence costs.  Refreshments and meals will be provided only as given on the course data sheet.
  • The named delegate can be changed at any time at no cost.
  • Bookings shall be governed by and operated in accordance with English law.

Terms and Conditions for ESTA Events - exhibiting and sponsorship:

Specific terms will be specified on the individual event booking form.  Other than that the following terms will apply:

  • On booking confirmation, an invoice will be issued, which is due for full payment within 28 days or by the event date whichever is earliest.
  • For all payments, ESTA must receive the full invoice amount with no additional transaction charges i.e. international payments must be paid in full in pounds sterling.
  • Exhibition and sponsorship bookings made and paid for outside the UK, are zero VAT rated but the exhibitor is required to provide their VAT number to ESTA and reconcile VAT in their own country.  All other bookings are subject to VAT at the current UK rate.
  • Cancellation of a confirmed exhibition or sponsorship booking:
    > On or before two months before the event date: 10% administration charge (90% refund), NO delegate list or other services supplied.
    > Between one month and two months before the event date: 50% charge, delegate list supplied but no other services i.e. name NOT on website.
    > On or after one month before the event date: 100% charge, delegate list and other services such as name on webpage supplied.
  • ESTA reserves the right to cancel or amend the dates of the events at any time. In these circumstances, a full refund will be provided if the revised arrangements are not acceptable to the exhibitor or sponsor.
  • Exhibitors and sponsors are responsible for all their own travel, accommodation and subsistence costs.  Free refreshments and meals will be provided only as included in the event programme.
  • Depending on the booking, a number of free exhibitor delegate places are available to exhibitors and sponsors.  Up to two additional staff may register to attend the event but further attendees are chargeable at £45+VAT per delegate.
  • Bookings shall be governed by and operated in accordance with English law.
