Voltis Home, from British energy management specialist Marshall-Tufflex, is the first 'intelligent' domestic voltage optimisation system available in the UK. By 'optimising' voltage to the rate most domestic appliances run at – around 220Volts – rather than to the mains electricity level of around 240Volts, lower bills and carbon emissions are possible. Voltis Home is rated to a market-leading 60Amps (approx 13kW), which means all domestic circuits can be connected to the one system through the distribution board, including lights, electric heating, electric showers and cookers, making installation simple.
For a big performing system, Voltis Home comes in a surprisingly small box (just 30cm x 24cm x 15cm), which fits neatly into a cupboard and takes about an hour for a qualified electrician to install.
