THE ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY AWARDS Tuesday 22 May 2012
Winner: Matt Hastings -Eden Project
The 2012 winner was announced at the Awards dinner on 22 May at the National Motorcycle Museum. The award was presented by ESTA Chairman, Professor Martin Fry who was also chairman of the judging panel.

He fights for Eden’s staff, especially those on fuel poverty. He helped get planning for a 4MWe deep geothermal power plant and created the UK’s first staff owned 50kW PV system.
The exceptional list of finalists included:
• Jaz Rabadia, Sainsbury’s
• Richard Tarboton, BT
• David Atkinson, Boots Contract Manufacturing
• Gareth Williams, Northern Rail
ESTA congratulates the winner and the finalists for their demonstration of commitment and their achievements in managing energy, carbon and costs.
