A PRESTIGIOUS LONG-TERM CONTRACT IN THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND HAS BEEN AWARDED TO MCL ENERGY.
The contact for MCL Energy, one of the UK's leading energy and technical services providers, is to install and supply a steam boiler for Renolit Cramlington Ltd based at the UK manufacturing site.
Renolit Cramlington Ltd manufacturer decorative surfacing materials. The Company supply decorative laminates to the furniture components and exterior windows markets.
MCL won the prestigious tender for two new steam boilers with integral economizers, new chimney stack and associated works with new site gas infrastructure, after facing tough competition. The contract includes boiler operation, maintenance, warranty, 24-hour emergency call out and guaranteed efficient steam supply for Renolit's highly demanding production.
Renolit will benefit from much improved steam reliability, as well as increased steam efficiency and cost reduction. It is estimated to see a good payback for its outlay in around two-and-a-half years.
