Fairford Energy and Energy Saving Solutions (ESS) have combined to deliver another energy reduction solution to a large supermarket.
Fairford’s strategic partner, ESS, have recently been instructed to conduct an investigation into energy saving for a large supermarket chain. The focus of this project were the chillers, freezers and ice makers located within each store. ESS identified the HFE single phase energy optimising soft starter. 4 were installed on a week on week off basis for 2 weeks.
The results were very successful and savings of 19, 23, 44 and 50% were seen, after this successful trial the client has promoted this solution to a full roll out in all of their stores.
The HFE is a single phase unit for use on chillers and freezers in addition to other industrial applications. It is a recognised energy saving solution for single phase applications and has been in production for over 20 years.
