Stark, trading as Clarity, has just been appointed an Elexon-accredited Non Half Hourly Data Collector and Data Aggregator.
This appointment means that Stark is now able to bring the same levels of performance it offers in the half hourly electricity market to all non half-hourly electricity supplies.
An accredited Half Hourly Data Collector and Data Aggregator since 2002, Stark has also been a registered NHH Data Retriever since 2007 and an OFGEM registered gas reader since 2006.
Commenting on this new Non Half Hourly accreditation, Managing Director, Howard Stark, said: “Adding NHHDC/DA to our existing portfolio of accredited data collection services greatly enhances our capabilities. To date, we have focused on marketing our smart metering service directly to consumers. Now, we can offer a comprehensive NHH package to suppliers as well and I am delighted to announce that suppliers Opus Energy and Ecotricity are the first two customers for our new NHH smart metering service – with more currently in the pipeline.”
Since Stark is one of the few AMR providers offering true interoperability, it is able to collect data from all approved NHH smart meters in the market, including the Iskraemeco MT375, the EDMI Mark 10 and the PRI Sprint meter.
