Aldershot, UK, 20 April 2009 – Carlo Gavazzi UK is today announcing the appointment of Will Darby to the role of Northern regional sales manager. Reporting to Alan Hickman, managing director, Darby will be responsible for promoting Carlo Gavazzi’s extensive range of products throughout the region into applications such as energy management, building services, panel building, OEM and engineering markets.
“We are very pleased to welcome Will to our team” said Alan Hickman. “He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the automation and process control markets which will enable him to provide our customers with the local support and know-how they require. I am confident that he will be successful in developing new customers, especially for the newly introduced MID certified energy meters.”
Prior to joining Carlo Gavazzi, Darby previously worked for companies including Turck Banner, Crouzet and Parmley Graham. He commented, “Carlo Gavazzi has a fantastic product range at the forefront of technology to offer cost effective solutions to enable their customers to comply with new directives and energy efficiency requirements.” He continued, “I am very excited about this new role and look forward to offering our customers high-quality support and advice on the wide variety of products that are available.”
