Vickers Electronics Ltd. designs, manufactures and installs energy management systems which guarantee to deliver substantial savings on heating costs and reduce emissions within factories, warehouses and retail outlets.
The system has the ability to control and monitor energy consumption in a number of key areas including, heating, lighting, ventilation, destratification and compressors, all with PC availability and access to the site via remote modem.
Incorporated in 1990, the company was awarded the prestigious Queen's Award for Environmental Achievement in 1994 for its unique method of controlling heating systems.
In recent years the company has invested heavily in order to meet the demands of the market place. This has included the research and development of the systems it installs plus investment in its people in order to underwrite its ability to deliver customer service of the highest order.
In addition, Vickers has recently been accredited with the international quality standard ISO 9002, and has responded to its business growth by moving to larger premises in Trafford Park, Manchester.
The company currently has in excess of 4,000 customers who are benefiting from Vickers' control systems, and savings in gas (or oil) consumption average 43%.
