Development and implementation of a UK energy efficiency strategy is an essential part of the energy future.
This conference examined the barriers and the necessary preconditions to achieving this, as well as progress to date including the Energy Efficiency Deployment Office (EEDO) strategy.

The awards celebrated businesses improving the performance of their buildings (new and existing) making their operations and products more carbon-friendly, and changing workforce and customer behaviour. They also recognised the energy suppliers, brokers, product manufacturers, experts and consultants who are proving their own excellence by helping them. The Carbon Reduction 2011: The Transition to a Low Carbon Economy Summit is a prestigious Annual, National Conference and Exhibition, which addresses the current status of Government policy and progress towards delivering a low carbon future.
The Transition to a Low Carbon Economy Summit will provide a unique insight into current national and international policy on tackling the long-term effects of climate change and provide some solutions for delivering the UK’s carbon reduction strategy over the next five years.
The Summit will bring together those individuals and key stakeholders charged with delivering on this agenda in the UK to provide both an update on Government strategy and industry analysis on the practicalities of achieving our target to realise the UK’s carbon reduction targets. |
