However, the aim of all the legislation is to prompt performance improvements – improvements that will help your organisation by reducing operating cost and improving reputation. ESTA would like to see movement towards using the various schemes as a tool to improve performance – to move on from the pure mechanics of creating certificates, evidence packs, etc towards implementation of measures to reduce operating cost.
